It is good this is going up here. To bad is not a little further south on I-10. Does anyone know what ever happened to the shopping center planned for foster and I-10.

When one speaks of rampant crime and then indicates a 3 mile distance as being virtually right on top of the center of the crime-infested area, that does indicate a possible lack of understanding of the area and/or of the structure of most large cities in general. 3 miles can make perceptible difference. For example, picture Broadway. Start at the Pig Stand and imagine driving towards Brackenridge and continuing on in that direction. How many miles have you driven before you see a clear change? One drive/mileage easy to picture would be the distance from the Pig Stand to Paloma Blanca. This is just barely over 3 miles. Continue a bit more - you still aren't much past 3 miles.

I don't know, but I stop near there often enough to get gas that it would be nice to spend money on something else in that area.

I live in Kirby ,,and it is not heavy with gangs,,,,,,,,
now there may be a few rotten apple's,,but not as heavy as you think.
Now Kirby is backed up against Sunrise,which is heavy with gangs..
My Sister lives in candelwood and i don't like visiting much because of
the gangs,filthy streets,junk cars and dirty yards and she's only a mile and a half away.

My wife and I do some RE investing and there are tons of houses for sale in Sunrise. Wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

i was hauling base to that site a few weeks ago, and the guys said it might be ready by next summer or sooner, depending on the pace.
