When I left San Antonio for a spell I returned to discover they had changed the area code. You have any idea how many years it took me to remember we were now 210?

....and that was when I was in my 30s.

I think the 737 in Austin is like 469 - reserved for cell phones and 2nd & 3rd tier land line/home phone companies.

Actually, the extreme northern slice of San Antonio is part of 830, so this makes three for SA!

San Antonio would have long ago had a second area code but because we had 830, it made it unnecessary. Now we'll technically have three area codes in the metro.
