I'm just glad it worked out for her- she loves it up there

more ironically- the middle school i'm talking about is Stevenson, which is on the edge of town on the W/NW side of town....

I guess it doesn't matter where you live, some areas are bad and some are good
I am extremely surprised of this. My daughter finished attending Stevenson last year and is now at Health Careers.

But we were always there for her. I would drop her off when I could and my wife would pick her up when she could.

She would mention some kids that were doing bad things but it never affected her.

Compared to the schools I attended, this was a great school.

Well, thankfully she must have been with the right crowd
I attended Steveson, say 8-10 years ago, and even back then there were quite a few of bad kids involved with drugs and gangs. I'm not saying the whole school is terrible. I'm not even saying most of the school is like that. I just remember that it was scary sometimes, because you don't really expect that at all, especially at that age level, and alot of those kids lived in my neighborhood and area.

I had heard that years ago it was worse than it is now. That might explain the difference. Maybe.
