It is very possible that my husband, my 1 year old and myself will be relocating to San Antonio. The area I would be working in would be Stone Oak. I was wondering if anyone could give me an average amount I might pay for daycare in that area?
TIA

Default Not sure I'm not in San Antonio yet but....

For Stone Oak use zipcode 78258. They have really nice looking ones and In SA you don't have to worry, everything is about kids and family. Good luck finding the right place.

It's astronomically more expensive for daycare here than in San Diego. I pay more here than the most expensive place in San Diego. We live at Sonoma Ranch and the closest pre-k (my daughter just turned 5) is Primrose. I think there's one at Stone Oak also. They do have a waiting list for the younger kids, start putting your 1 yr old on the lists asap. We pay $195 a week for pre-k, it's more expensive for the younger children. If you can find a church day care I'd hope it'd be less expensive. That's what we prefer but there were none close to us (neighborhood's too new) and she's at the age where she needs and real pre-k and not a day care. The newspaper has a series right now on how kids aren't passing kindergarden and are having to be held back. Sad thought isn't it?
