Darn, getting ready to leave to help out with the Community Easter Egg hunt at the sports park...wonder how many little guys will be out there this morning....at 34 degrees the weather sure could be warmer for this fun.

Maybe it will warm up by 8am....yea, right. Wish us luck!!!

I am getting ready to bundle the kids up. We will be there. Maybe it should have been "brunch" with the Easter bunny?

Just back and SHOCKED at the number of kiddos that showed up despite the cold.

It was a great turnout, very well organized, LOTS of eggs, and everyone seemed very happy. the EASTER BUNNY even made an appearance, and it was so much fun to watch...think we got more out of it then they did!

We had a blast - we had a TON of eggs, but they were all gone when the kids were done! After the event we went up to the community center to hang out with everyone - pancakes, sausage, fruit, etc, and music! The kids got to take pics with the Easter Bunny and everything.

If you had a good time, please let Sandy and Ken know, they worked hard to put the event together! I'm sure the volunteers would love to know they're appreciated!

Oh I forgot, I took a lot of pictures (I was the guy with the flame-beanie on, trying to keep my head warm!). I'll post them online asap!
