What's it like Living in San Antonio Texas would a young white male 18-24 fit in. I was researching that the area is very Hispanic which I'm completely ok with but do you need to know Spanish to get by. how's the nightlife, the cost of living etc and the best neighborhoods to when first starting off to live?

I was born and raised in San Antonio, lived there for 20 years. I never knew one lick of Spanish and did just fine.

A lot of this depends on what your career looks like, what you can afford and how comfortable you are with driving. Do a bit of searching in this forum and you can find many of your answers.

Having lived here for many years, I can tell you that you don’t need Spanish
to fit in, but if you stay here long enough, you will begin to understand the language
and hopefully appreciate good tasting “Hispanic” or Mexican food.
It can be very spicy or not, depending where you go eat!

San Antonio is not limited to “Hispanic foods”. There’s always chicken fried steaks,
Texas bar-b-que & steaks, Chinese, Italian,German, Polish, and many other good eating spots.

Of the Hispanics I have known that were born here, they all spoke English.
But they also speak half-English and half-Spanish with one another.
They also speak Spanish only but only with those who understand the language.
If you don’t understand the language, they will be happy to explain it in English.

As far as fitting it. There are parts of the city which you would not fit in if
you are not familiar with the customs, music or food.
But you are certainly welcome if you enjoy finding new things and meeting
people who enjoy a “fun fiesta” time!
