That sounds like the kind of Italian place I've been looking for. Has anyone tried going to the cooking class that they mention on the website. Sounds like fun.

Thanks for the recommendation! Any place that serves brick oven pizza at reasonable cost has my vote!

Im not sure were you are from but Capparelli;s is not real italian. I would not recommend that place to any real self respecting Italian.

I might take you up on that offer. I know what you mean about missing home.

Look, you want good Italian, got to the Spagetti Warehouse. It is the closest to real Italian that you will find down here. As far as a market, let me know when you find one.

Spaghetti Warehouse??? You've go to be kidding.....Last time I ate there (12 yrs ago maybe), it was yech!

And I'm certain Paletta's is closed. Personally, I think Pompeii Italian Grill on Nacogdoches is far better than Spaghetti Warehouse.

Spaghetti Warehouse is a heart attack food! Has not much to do with REAL Italian food .....
Unfortunately there is no Italian grocery store in SA... sadly!

Like it or hate it; Spaghetti Warehouse is NOT Italian.

Central Market is the best deli we have. It is not Italian focused, but they can hit most items. They have a line on a artisinal Italian-born US producer that is producing many high quality sausages from the old country.

I thought the Spaghetti Warehouse suggestion was really odd as well...double yuck. But then, you have to take that post with a grain of salt considering the "expert" on Italian cooking can't even spell spaghetti
