julian castro has over $200K to run for mayor...does your neighborhood association have alot of members? need funding for events? he is the man to call. mary alice and cibrian are hovering around $70-100k as of right now. cibrian is a total idiot, cisneros only cares about the next gala award she will get, and julian...well he is the lesser of the 3 evils.

I don't think she'll be running for mayor after the Jaime Castillo piece (www.mysanantonio.com >> Jaime Castillo - Typically verbose councilwoman is silenced by Cancún question (http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/columnists/jaime_castillo/typically_verbose_councilwoman_is_silenced_by_canc un_question100.html - broken link)) in today's E-N. She sounds like a typical corrupt SA city council person though.. I love how they think they're above the law just by being a city council person in a city that most people could care less about as far as politics is concerned..

you probably aren't corrupt enough and don't have enough attitude, sorry..

although I haven't really heard anything bad about the current mayor. He's one of the few dem's I actually like and I wish there were more of them. He is an arts fanboy, though, and that's never a good thing as far as spending my money.

Corrupt no. Attitude? Depends on what's required.

She sooooo reminds me of John Edwards in her "I will not address that question" type of response....your REFUSAL to address your ISSUES speaks VOLUMES!!!!!

I don't know much at all about her, but the little I do is not likely to get me to vote for her.

I agree that it was potentially damaging, but I'll be surprised if she lets that stop her.

If Kevin Wolff doesn't get elected to the county commission, I'd like to see him run for mayor.

not really up on Kevin Wolff, but isn't he Nelson's son? I'm definitely not a fan of him, is his son any different? I kinda wish Phil could stick around for a few more years.

Smile Look for something good today!

Is there any resource to expose good things that government people are accomplishing? Delving into the complexities of gov biz makes me realize how restricted they are, and in their efforts to serve the community, can be labeled evil, or the lessor of the evils. SA boasts progressive well laid out city planning that we can appreciate. We are moving forward! We are NOT in a recession! We have security! We can be confident and proud of SAN ANTONIO! I'm looking for the GOOD today. We inevitably find what we look for, don't we?

ill do everything i can to make sure she doesn’t get in office! the whole Boobie Rock nightclub thing really pissed me off. it didn’t matter if it was a nudie bar or not, she trampled on the rights of a small business owner, just because she didnt like their business. what other businesses doesn’t she like? im amazed than in America we are getting ever closer to socialism and most people don’t even see it.
