Is it San Antonio that has "high" levels of lithium in the drinking water, along with a corresponding low rate of mental illness?

No, it is further west TX. I know a shrink MD who set up a practice there and went broke. Thought he had a gold mine given no competition.

Thank you for that. Now I remember it is El Paso with the "Texas Tranquilizer" tap water. I know a person in New York that should be drinking that water. People might think we are kidding, but we are not. It has been written up in all sorts of medical and psychiatric journals over the years.

Default I remember,

Yes I recall a story like that of a city in northern Texas however. It is Abilene also which had high levels of Lithium in the drinking water. This is a true story which took place, that is to say it is fact. Documented.
A woman who had psychological problems moved to Abilene and her Psych. symptoms vanished. Poof!
Due to the elevated Lithium content in the water there, it was reasoned. The water cured her.

haha, "there's something in the water" is what they say.

Anyhow, glad to be on well water and off of SAWS radar. It is so hot this week and I just filled up the above ground pool.

It's pumping away. It was never intended to reduce the need for water restrictions or cause the thresholds for them to be adjusted. It was intended to ensure that the city had enough water for the second half of this half-century.

If that isn't political double speak, I don't know what is. The point is that they are benefiting from it, and we're are paying higher rates because of it, so they should be adjusting the thresholds down.

The threshold should go back to its previous level, 30 feet lower than now.

Vista Ridge has it's two 10 million gallon delivery tanks down the road from my house. Funny, SAWS only owns one of them.
So far. I'm sure it will be for sale to them in a few years, with a little mark-up.
