Go back and read what I wrote before, weigh what I told you- when I answered you the first time; "I will not re-write anything here, merely so you can understand it". Come back sonny, with some counter ideas. You are a kid. Even an intuitive response is better than nothing. You do not even pretend to know the Democratic agenda and believe you can make a weighted decision? You make no sense. Asking questions is a good start.
Biden is compassionate toward the average person. Trump is tuned in to the wealthy and only pretends to want to help anyone but himself. And. His cronies. The guy lies with a constant barrage of misstatements and blunders. Frankly it is all, quite the debacle. He and his ultra wealthy cohorts made out like thieves in the night in terms of the reduced taxation rates on the wealthy. THESE, is whom the tax cuts made wealthier.
A poor administrator, look at the state of the country with regard to the pandemic in the most wealthy country on earth. This is worse of all, even all the constant barrage of lying takes second place with regard to the mishandling of the Pandemic.
Tries constantly to disassemble Obamacare. Our most vulnerable citizens depend on this insurance.
Biden would strengthen Obamacare. Just look at the way Trump was rebutted from the beginning regarding his efforts to repeal Obamacare. Trump's own party dislikes him is why. This was truly hilarious.
Was a game show host. Never mind the porn actress payoff. The guy is flat bad news. Immoral
as anyone who has ever been President. This is not the America that is supposed to be. He simply is not Presidential fodder. I knew all along that the guy paid no Federal taxes. Shady character. Even Dubya seems like an Angel now, in comparison.

All you offer up is rebuttal, no ideas are put forth. You are a lightweight. Know nothing. Not even sloganeering do you offer. Only because even the sloganeering is horrible.
It is all pure fakery. All of it. You do not see it. You are simply one of the masses who don't want to see the immorality of it all? Blindly following?
The average honest American taxpayer is a far, far, better person.
Biden will implement social programs to help schools and kids. Betsy Devos is trying to disassemble American school systems. This is outrageous and perhaps the most immoral move of all. This Devos woman is a very, very, wealthy woman, and does not care one whit about America's kids. Yet, she is the Secretary of Education for this administration. Washington is a backwards place now. A place where birds fly upside down past the Capital dome and morality has no place.
There is no bottom now and the country is sinking even deeper into the quagmire of the swamp.
Where is an LBJ when we need him? Biden is infinitely, better than Trump. At the very least, he will restore some semblance of honesty.
I could go on, but I doubt you will understand. To receive enlightenment you must be free of all prejudices. Obviously you do not have a clear mind. You offer merely counter argument which is
void of wisdom. And. Not very good counter argument, I would add. Bad.
It was all political theory before, this is, what is, up for a vote. Take the horse.
Sounds great! Ha! A kid is comical to say the least. You never know, I could live on the same street as you. I might even be your neighbor-gasp!!!!

Well, this basement rambling is so hard to read. Not only do they sound like conspiracy theories (which you and the Bridge ladies most likely discuss over Sanka and sugar-free cookies) it is chopped full of grammatical errors. Good Lord!

Back to your stance. I believe you are so Biden strong, which is fine, due to you being elderly and Trump wanting to get rid of Obamacare. A total disaster by the way. LBJ and Washington being backwards? Sure thing...because Washington has always been full of morally decent politicians HA! Reagan was a Hollywood actor BTW so who cares if he was a game show host.

No ideas put forth? Here are some ideas. There is NO voter suppression going on in our lovely state of Texas. It is a delusion. Go outside and get some fresh air. Come out from the basement. The sky is not falling. It will help clear your mind so you will see the truth. Also, how is Biden good for San Antonio again? My last idea is MAGA by going to vote however you see fit. There should be plenty of handicap parking.

I though anybody who wants to can request a ballot, complete the ballot, and mail it to their local election officials. It is recommended that you mail your ballot at least 15 days prior to election day to insure delivery. You don't even need postage. Packages lacking postage but post marked by election day, will still be delivered, and the sender subsequently billed for the postage.

That is 2 methods of voting that are there and have always been there.

I'm surprised no one has pointed out that your own link contradicts your previous statement. Not everyone is eligible to vote by mail.

Look... I'm a former Texas Republican who voted R from Bush through Romney. I just don't understand the party's recent tactics of wanting to prevent people from voting easily - I mean, the Texas Republican Party actually sued the Republican governor to reduce the length of early voting (they lost this week in the Tx Supreme Court: https://www.statesman.com/news/20201...ly-voting-time).

Anyone who can not see the attempts by this administration (and by some who support him) to gum up the mail system, make it more difficult for one particular politically affiliated voter and ultimately make the results of this election murky and questionable (so the results can be contested in the even more conservatively packed Supreme Court if not favorable to the current administration), I do not know what else to say.

SA voters, please mail in your vote ASAP, or drop off your vote in the one drop box in all of San Antonio ASAP. Or if you plan to vote in person, just remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

More denials is all the post is. Reagan? I do have Medicare, yes, and Blue Cross. It is called Medicare plus Blue.I do not even have a medicare card though, only Blue Cross. It is the best.
The U.S. White House has been turned into a comic stage equal to Saturday Night Live. Reagan starred in a talking animal movie serial, called Bonzo. The GOP hasn't any decent statesmen- with the possible exception of Romney whom still falls somewhat short, on moral grounds. Because of political affiliations. So they have had to come out with a circus act. Enter Trump.
SO,yes, Mike from American pickers should run also. Maybe his sidekick Frank, can be the Vice President.
Propaganda exactly like this has sucked in the Texas Public in recent history. Recall Pappy O'Daniel, the flour salesman who ran a program on over the air radio in the nineteen thirties. Became Governor and then Senator. Popular? Yes, and he knew nothing about Government at all. Nor politics. It too, was very ridiculous. The public was led along on a leash, like right now, exactly. It was propaganda then and it is
now, too. Ask the Russians about propaganda. The whole thing stinks. And. You don't even realize it. Can't even conceive. Hilarious.
I could tell you exactly how Biden is going to be good for San Antonio. Working with Joaquin Castro, you will see for yourself. There are already plans. Joaquin won office because of victory in a lawsuit against the illegally GOP gerrymandered district lines.I will no longer explain things to you however. I am through with lecturing you. Enough on this topic too. Just know it was voter suppression then also. I know, you do not get it.

Still no ideas put forth at all here, once again just fuss and feathers is all you are. Unimaginative and dull, too. Dispute and nothing else, boring frankly. At least you are not being repetitive.

LBJ? Another topic I will not lecture about. I will say this only briefly.-Texas greatest statesman, he changed the country forever. With changes so profound the very social fabric of the country was changed, forever. Beyond the reach of Republicans to change to their benefit. 135 pieces of legislation passed in the first 100 days of the 36th Administration and 464 laws in total did the greatest legislator ever to occupy the White House pass. A Texas Hillbilly! Would order up Chili and Onions at the White House! Hilarious.
I know, you do not get it.
Civil Rights , Voting Rights (!), PBS, NPR, Medicare, Aid to Public Education, Clean Air and Water, truth in labeling, Truth in lending,Automotive safety, Fed. Student loans, Medicaid. On and on and on. A political Genius and a legislative landslide!
Obvious, even to you, these few laws I have mentioned here are but a tiny fraction of laws passed of the Populist type by Johnson.

Johnson was also a rabid anti-civil rights crusader for decades. In the forefront. A rabid conservative who led in Congress for three decades. To the far right! Fought to preserve segregation!

Until LBJ became president!!!! Then the decades long posturing stopped. Johnson turned upon his fellow southern Senators- and won out against the very people whom he had duped. Civil Rights legislation
became law. By the wits of one of its' own.
A southerner. I know, you do not get it.
All of the "Whites only"signs had to come down, in restaurants, lodging, water fountains, etc. Jim Crow was over with. These stupid signs still hung in San Antonio Restaurants until 1968. Before the world's fair, and with the opening of Hemisfair- all the signs had, to come down. Also, had it not been for LBJ, Hemisfair would never have gotten off the ground. Hemisfair changed San Antonio, improved it immensely, enriched it. These are the ways in which Biden and Joaquin will work. Use your imagination. LBJ passed Federal legislation directly to the benefit of of the City, too. Began life as a teacher in Cotulla, Texas
Anything else just ask. I know, you still do not get it. What was it you were saying?

I also love how most people in thread only want you to vote if you vote their way.

Judge blocks order limiting Texas ballot drop-off locations

Abbott’s order dramatically reduced the number of places in Texas where voters could drop off mail ballots during early voting.

- Start article excerpts:

A federal judge in Texas on Friday halted Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s order that shuttered dozens of mail ballot drop-off sites weeks before November’s election, authorizing only one for every county no matter the size.

Abbott’s order dramatically reduced the number of places in Texas where voters could drop off mail ballots during early voting and most heavily impacted the state’s largest cities, which are also Democratic strongholds. He issued the order Oct. 1 as voters had already begun returning ballots for the Nov. 3 election.

The move brought swift accusations of voter suppression from Democrats and voting rights groups, including the League of United Latin American Citizens, which filed a lawsuit over the order earlier in October.

Gilberto Hinojosa, Texas Democratic Party chairman, said in a statement that Pitman’s decision stopped the governor from “making up” election rules after the election started.

“This important ruling stands up not just for voters but for the Rule of Law,” he added. “This isn’t the first time Abbott and Texas Republicans have tried to suppress the vote, and it won’t be the last.”

Abbott’s order also emphasized that poll watchers can observe ballot deliveries, which comes as President Donald Trump urges his supporters to go to the polling places and "watch very carefully” raising concerns about possible voter intimidation.

Texas is one of just five states not allowing widespread mail-in voting this year. Polls show unusually tight races in America's biggest red state and Democrats could take over the state House of Representatives for the first time in 20 years.

The U.S. Postal Service informed Texas in July that, given the state’s current mail ballot request deadline, some ballots may not be delivered to voters by Election Day, and that even if all ballots reached voters on time, there was a “significant risk” that completed ballots postmarked on or near Election Day would not be received by the state’s Nov. 4 deadline.

As best I can determine, only counties in Texas impacted by the ballot drop-off ruling are Harris (Houston), and to a lesser extent, Travis (Austin). Those are the only two counties that had more than one ballot drop-off location established, because they both have "satellite" county elections office locations.

Default Touche'

Great post from Texas Bull's Fan explaining precisely what is happening here in Texas. In San Antonio. It is humorous to see the this, Fright in the Eyes, political cheap shot.
Likely, many of the Locals still won't understand here in the City Forum, but it is alright. Merely because they don't understand this debacle does not mean it does not exist. It is so obvious a ploy as to be to irrefutable now. It was tried and failed.
They are scared shirtless and so are running as fast as they can. So the hucksters tried to block the huge democratic strongholds vote in Texas' big cities? It was so transparent of a ploy. So, it was easy to unseat such an overly simple move. Poor, single chance, in desperation ,last ditch effort. Better to have tried some illegal vote buying, it was. This poorly thought out plan, surely did not work. Better start over again with plan B now. Unfortunately for them, there is no Plan B.

Beto so nearly beat Ted Cruz in Cruz's race for his own Senate Seat, this was a harbinger of political things underfoot. It is only a matter of time. I did not know the LULAC suit would achieve such prompt results, Bulls Fan. Sincere thanks for the update.

The World is moving to the left. Move with it or get bowled over by it. Trump is hastening the move.
Cloistered now. It is closing in. There is hope however, the Russians may be of help.
