What does that even mean? For what it's worth, I have kids in SAISD schools, and I don't see what you are insinuating. If you feel that you or your kids are not getting the help they need, continue to advocate for them. Start by setting up a meeting with the school's counselor.

But, getting back on topic (though I think OP is long gone)... I do know that SAISD is supportive of the LGBTQ community.

Sounds like every large urban district I’ve come into contact with. Does SAISD have a non-profit to support them? Like the Northside Education fund? In Austin we have the Austin Ed fund that provides lots of support fir students and families. I also don’t know much about saisd’s partnerships with community programs. We live and die by partnerships. I’ll add that my district is twice the size of SAISD (I just learned this and was shocked). I haven’t kept up to date on these things, however, being involved in much of these things up here I’d love to see more San Antonio districts take note of how services are offered.
