The unofficial term for the real estate market right now is "bonkers" as homes in Northwest San Antonio neighborhood now hit $1 million or more.
In 2021, the U.S. added 146 new cities where the typical home value is priced at $1 million or more and for the first time, a San Antonio-area enclave was added to the list: Hill Country Village.

The city, which is located south of Loop 1604 and just west of 281, had a typical home price of $1,215,000 in December 2021, earning it a spot among the most expensive cities in the country.

Those property sizes are quite large too in Hill Country Village. Many look to be 3-5 acres.

With all due respect, the title should read "Hill Country Village home prices hit $1 million"

I know you didn't write the article so I'm not bashing you but the article is written in a silly way. To add to what has been said, Hill Country Village is hardly northwest San Antonio in the first place.

HCV is literally dead north central. When I clicked on this I was half thinking some random tract house in Helotes was caught up in a. Offing war that went crazy. I’m not shocked that HCV is going this high.
