No replies or new threads for weeks.

Any suggestions as to how to remedy this?

Perhaps being back and pin threads that had good traffic (like eatery reviews)?

Thoughts?

Interesting you say this as this morning I was mentioning to another that many areas of the BB are way down from the past and this has been going on awhile now. No real way to pick up the traffic if people are not visiting the BB. It would be interesting to know some stats on the BB participation and not just overall but by user. For example how many have dropped out for some time now? How many might participate but their posts are way farther apart now? Etc.

I am surprised that city-data has lasted as long as it has. A lot of social media platforms and forums die out after 10+ years. Many of them died because of facebook groups which itself seems to be dying out as well.

Yes CD's longevity is impressive. However that may be due to the usefulness it has. This is a BB where, sans the peeing matches and hate, people can hold discussions on so many different topics and seek help/answers to their situations. Also CD and its parent company have many other sites of helpful information.

As for FB I never saw any value in it anyhow. To me it was nothing more than a personal data gathering and redistribution operation. Information and data are a $trillion+ a year industry and they fit in that well.

I still check in daily, no one is asking questions so I mostly hang out in the broader Texas forum. At least it's not like the Corpus forum that hasn't been touched since September.

Do you have a link to it? All I saw was a SA River Walk forum.

No one seems to post anything interesting here or inviting to discussion.
I guess people moved to more exciting social media like ...Reddit.

Is San Antonio a boring city where nothing is ever happening?
