Anyone know of a track open to the public? Wanted to start running with my son.

You can run over at Stevens HS. My wife and I did that for a while.

I thought of that. Went there this morning but apparently they are having camps there during the morning. Would you know if the track is unlocked in the evening hours?

Well, when we went it was during the school year but like around 6 or 7 at night so we didn't have any problems. I don't see driving up there being an issue but I can't be certain about the fence being locked. I honestly think you won't have an issue because it seems like an active school year around but the thing is, you would have to probably wait until the evenings to do your exercises. Side note, the CC Forum has picked up a bit lately!!

I know I'm not in the 1064 and Potranco area, but I run at Madison HS at 11:00 pm at night and I have never had an issue. The gates are always unlocked and I've seen quite a few others go that late as well. So, I would assume most schools would be the same...

With what we pay in property taxes, you should be able to go any public school in your district!!

I feel the same way, especially if you have no kids.
