PurinaCare also announced earlier this month that they would be headquartered at 607 E. Sonterra Blvd. Tesoro is also nearby. That area is landing a lot a of big tenants.

Sonterra BLVD is really an up and coming area with the new companies moving in and the new Methodist Hospital. The new Tesoro tower located off 281 between Redland and W. Sonterra really brings some high powered corporate talent to the area. Most of the developments have been very high end - which further helps the area. Very little retail which keeps traffic down on the weekends.

It's San Antonio #2!! How long before a place so far away gets a different name, or becomes annexed as a different city? For example, in New York, you'd be in the outskirts of Trenton or Newark by traveling that far outside the city.

When it's a half hour drive away, it's hard for me to still call it San Antonio. jus sayin'

That is probably one of the most unique things about San Antonio. When compared to other major cities we have much fewer suburbs, and those that we do have are usually much smaller. That is what causes our city to be the the 7th largest in the US, but only the 28th largest metro.
