Best bet is to call USAA. You never know, they might go the extra mile and help out more than you expected.

I have about 2,343 points in my pool and am happy to send them over...it's not much but I'd love for you to have them. Can you PM your member number and last name to me so I can send them to you through USAA.com?

Thank you all so much for your help. My son has been having several asthma attacks the past few days so I have not been able to contact USAA yet. It is on the top of my list to do tomorrow for sure! So far the only information I can find for donated miles are for military members who are coming home on emergency leave. So I guess my best bet is to try and find a way to get doantions for points towards his airline ticket through USAA.

Thebigmammoo (((HUGS))) to you and your generous offer. I will pm you with the info. God Bless you for your help !!!

No worries, glad I could help.

I received an error when I tried to gift through USAA.com so I'll call the customer service number and see if they can do it.

OK well I spoke to an USAA agent today and they do not have a program to ask for donations for points nor did she have any other help to offer to me. I called 211 and sought their assistance and they also had no help since he is not in Iraq or Afghanistan. They provided me with another agency and also no go.

So I am asking here if anyone is a USAA member and would like to donate any points to my family it would be greatly appreciated. I am on a time crunch now because hubby needs to put in leave with in a week or so. The plane ticket we found through USAA is $1,782.02 so any points to help get the price down is greatly appreciated.

If anyone would like to donate points please pm me and I will give you the necessary information to gift them to us, and if you have your USAA account online, you may gift them online. It is free and instantaneous. Again thank you to anyone and everyone for their continuing support!

I am not a member there, but I know SSFCU has a "trading post" for ads--does USAA have such a thing? There may be some way on there to ask.

Good luck, I am pulling for you!!
