Years ago perhaps 1980 ish I heard about an old classmate who had been murdered. I think the case was in the newspaper, not sure if it was the Express or the Light. I have always wondered if the case was solved but google never shows anything. Is there a way to see unsolved cases in SA?

Its a shame with todays technology that we can not catch all the criminals. Hopefully with the use of cameras, dna, and the like this world will take a more peaceful turn. I am doubting it though.

I thought I just read in the paper that they got a confession on Darren Holden's murder:
Unsolved Cases

I wish they'd solve the Heidi Seeman one. That was a tough one to have to watch unfold. Right around the same time another little girl went missing--I think from Fiesta (?) but her killer was caught fairly quickly.

My heart goes out to all the families of these victims. There's another one that is really troublesome that isn't on here--they've never found her body, but she went missing on Christmas Eve one year. The husband is/was a suspect but there isn't any proof of anything. I think it's a county case, not city. Patty was her name...

Yep, Heidi Seeman case I remember well. I remember her father's co-worker or superior (AF?)was a possible suspect. Patty ?? forgot her last name but her husband was a contractor I believe . May have buried her and covered with concrete at new school construction at the time! Though tests were done .. and fruitless, he's probably still best suspect. The little girl abducted from Fiesta was found in drainage (ditch ,creek, SA river) under I-35 near Stockyards if I recall correctly!

Well I did not find the one I was looking for. I was not living in SA when it happened so I am thinking 1980ish. I thought I heard tied up in an apartment. Morales was the last name. Maybe it was solved.

Horrible that people need to kill one another.

I remember the story on Patty. The husband did act odd from what I remember. The whole story was odd. It didn't make sense. Wasn't she out near LaVernia or far East Bexar County? Never have understood why that story seemed to just fade.

Her family tries to keep it alive....they are pretty sure it was the soon-to-be ex-husband. Her van was found out on 1604 with a "bad tire" --the air had been let out of it. It just broke my heart because it was Christmas Eve, and she had 2 or 3 kids. Very doubtful that she left of her own accord.

South or southeast of town as I remember..probably La Vernia. Think you're right there!

A friend of mine was killed in 06 (shot in the head on 410 after leaving D&B classified as "road rage") They never found the person who killed him, but I noticed those unsolved murder things on the website didnt seem to go out that far. Does anyone know where you can find that info? I didn't keep in good contact with his parents unfortunately and his girlfriend at the time seemed to drop off the face of the Earth. None of us (friends) ever got any info as to what happened with the case, other than the press release.
