Can anyone recommend a good watch repair shop? I've got several I inherited that I'd like to have fixed, or at least have someone honest tell me if they are even worth repairing.

A few years ago, I had a watch repaired at a shop in the PX "mall" on the Fort Sam campus. Civilians can go onto the base, but you must pass through a checkpoint.

There is one on West Avenue between Lockhill-Selma and Patricia road, I believe it is called Swiss Or London Watch and Time. I have been using them for years, I had them restore an old Rolex from 1945, they did a great job and weren't too expensive.

I have used a company online called RepairUrWatch.com. They fixed my watch pretty fast and they gave me what I thought was a good price. Over all I was satisfied with the repair.

I second London Watch. I have taken in two of my husband's watches for a new battery and a cleaning.

I also brought in my watch for sizing.

I have been happy with the service, price, timeliness and gentle hands!
