Well, you learn something new every day!

I just found out that James Roday who plays fake psychic Shawn Spencer on the TV show Psych (one of my favorite shows these days!) is actually a San Antonio native!

Roday was born James David Rodríguez on April 4, 1976 and attended Taft High School (I would guess the Class of 1994).

Oh, and Roday has been dating his Psych co-star Maggie Lawson, who plays Junior Detective Juliet O'Hara on the show, since 2006.

Also, Psych was the highest-rated scripted basic cable TV show premiere of 2006!

Just thought I would share these interesting tidbits of information!

Cheers! M2

My mom told me his favorite place to eat is the Papacitos on 10 near the Colonade. He was home during the holidays and we almost went there just at the chance of seeing him. lol.

Although I would have thought his favorite place would have been more out towards most of the other posters neck of the woods. Oh well. better chance of me seeing him!

Wow, if we knew that we would have camped out there just for a chance to see him! We love the show, and hopefully the next time Roday's in town someone will spot him and post a pic here!

Cheers! M2
