If anyone has stayed in these hotels in San Antonio, can you tell me which one you prefer?

We are going to Sea World and have an almost 3 year old.

My vote goes to the Westin La Cantera. Fabulous hotel. I love the views from out there.

But as others have said - it is more adult oriented.

Both are very nice. Hyatt is closer to Sea World.

I've stayed at both.

If the focus of your trip is Sea World, the Hyatt is literally down the street. Plus, it has a lot of kid-centered activities like the lazy river.

The Westin is probably a nicer hotel, accomodations-wise, but it's more adult-oriented. With a three year old, and with Sea World as your stated goal, I think the Hyatt is a better bet.

You better check availability. I just did a quick search on both hotels and there wasn't much available (in March) due to spring break.

Westin does have a family section to their pool and an adult section. Hoo Ya!

I like the hilton hill country resort on westover hills, I think the place is very underrated and its 5 minutes to seaworld.

thought La cantera is farther than Hill country from Sea World, I much prefer La Cantera. The hotel is awesome, the best views. They are also very kid oriented with several pools for kids, a nice kids clubs with activities. They are also close to Six Flags and the Shops.

They are also completing a full room renovation so their rooms are brand new and look very nice.

I would go to La Cantera

Because of the 3 year old, I recommend Hyatt. For adult stuff, I prefer the Westin but the "3 yr old" variable fits better at the Hyatt (IMO).
