Nick.....thanks for those AWESOME pics!!!! They are fabulous. Great photography too. Granite Rock is incredible....and some of those vistas look very familiar. Nice way to start the day.

rd- Arthur Frommer's "Budget Travel" magazine's April edition has an article about eating cheap (but well) in Paris. Might wanna pick it up. I found the food prices to be expensive (relatively speaking) in Paris so cheap is always a bonus.

is that a magazine? or is it an online thing? That would be great, especially if it points out small markets or something like a grocery store. We're staying in an apartment (Page Title), so we hope to do most of the cooking ourselves and probably hit cafes or McDonalds for the rest.
thanks

It's both. Here's the online version (although I don't see the cheap Paris eats article here): Budget Travel - Homepage

thank you again and one more time
I'm all about not spending much money on food and it's a good thing most of us really like bread. According to Rick Steves, that's one of the cheapest things there is and it's always fresh.

I'm curious, have you tried chatting in the Paris/France forum on CD? Maybe you can get good info there from people that actually live there
