My hubby just got hired as a temp at USAA. We are relocating from MN. We like the Stone Oak area, is this too far of a drive? How would a commute be from Bulverde/Fair Oaks area?

Thanks!

Bulverde and Fair Oaks are in two different locations and miles a part. Maybe you meant Boerne/Fair Oaks.

The drive from Stone Oak could be bad depending on what time he leaves/returns. It would honestly be an easier commute from Boerne/Fair Oaks.

Boerne and Fair Oaks are both very nice communities and is Stone Oak but if you're basing your decision on commute, I'd say Boerne/Fair Oaks imo.

yes, I think I was getting Boerne and Bulverde mixed up, thanks. His hours will be either 8-5 or 9-6. Prime traffic times!

Absolutely not from Bulverde. Stone Oak wouldn't be great either, but doable. A lot of USAA employees live in the Boerne/Fair Oaks area, and also Helotes. I have clients that are looking for a house in Fair Oaks because the drive to USAA from Stone Oak is too far.

Do you want him to be insanely late for work!!!?

But seriously, that would be a brutal commute.

I am moving to Stone Oak next month despite the traffic in that area. I work in the medical center area which is close to USAA. I chose Stone Oak because for the most part everything is nice for the money you spend out there.
I work 8 to 5. I plan to start leaving to work at 7am once I move out there. I should be there on time.
