I got my laptop fixed by a guy at my work. He works IT but does repair on the side, he's cheap and only took a few hours to fix my laptop. His website is 210pcrepair.com. I have his number and stuff, if you want it, give me a PM.

Thanks I ended up calling the 210pcrepair. He was quick, courteous, and even gave me a great recommendation for a site to backup all my photos on my computer incase my hard drive decided to crap out...

The price was very reasonable. I have 2 other laptops that need some serious spyware removal and he offered me a multi-computer discount and cause im military 10% off. cant be that.

San Antonio Computer Doctor - Computer Repair, Web Design, Data Recovery, Computer Forensics

They repaired/replaced my Dell XPS LED screen in a jiffy. They called me throughout the process, kept me informed and were really nice to deal with all the way around.

And on the flipside, it was them I went to from a DISMAL experience at Altex on 281. They were just idiotic, couldn't get a simple job done and I ended up taking my laptop back and just leaving.

Be careful here. Ensure you read the terms of service of those sites. Oftentimes in order to use their service, you end up giving away your rights to your images.

If you post what your problem is with your PC, I would be happy to give it a go as Ive done technical services for 8+ years for my department.

They are pretty clear and upfront. Thats good.

Maybe its just me, but I would never, ever in a million years put any files out on the web for 'storage'. Not knowing the integrity of the people you are dealing with is the thing... people tend to back up important things, whether its images, financial information, passwords etc. To me its more secure on an external drive that you back up regularly.
