There used to be a place that did stained glass, leaded glass on Fred Rd. Think they even had classes on doing stained glass. They were on Fred. Road south off I-10 towards Five points!! Few years since I've noticed it not sure if it's still there!!

Thanks - I'll be doing some homework on this tonight!

17-year old houses are enough fun, if that's any indication of how much more there is to do with 30 years. I'm juggling this with a half dozen other projects right now...

Default Update?

Any luck on this? I'm in a similar situation, and trying to decide what to do...

Also in a similar situation and I have had no luck finding a company either. Seriously this seems like it would be an easy thing to get fixed. If it makes you feel any better I was bringing in groceries and shut the door with my elbow...NOT SMART.

They're coming by today. This could've been largely avoided if my wife didn't come down with something, run off to the doctor and miss the original appointment some time back. Of course, something like that can't exactly be done.

I'll say this though - the guy really does know his stained glass. Hopefully within the next few days I'll have some pictures to post.

Oops. Yeah it got fixed about a month ago. Bunches of pics on my blog. Dunno if people get mad about posting a link to it or not but I'm fairly certain I can send it through a direct message to whoever asks. I'm linking the small images here - full size are available through the blog. Feel free to ask for the link, of I'll post it if it won't get deleted. The quality of the work from Austin Cut Glass both on the window(s) built and the refinishing on the door was outstanding.

New window built (1 of 2).

New window for the door (window 2 of 2 built)

Refinished door (flash on the camera washes it out):
