Chama Gaucha, I can only imagine what the cost is > $100.00 but you get more bang for your buck. I ate at a Brazilian grill in Houston and love it.
Actually, $35 each plus we had a decent bottle of red for $20. For all the meat you can eat plus a great salad bar and they include potatoes, fried plantains, and the most delicious melt-in-your-mouth bread thingies, I consider that a bargain.

agreed. it's a steal. there's no place like it in the city, best service i've had in any city, and well worth the price, especially since a meal at red lobster would be $80.

wildfish was too loud and pricey, the steak was only ok and the fish was fishy.

Brasserie Pavil has been hit or miss when I've gone. Sometimes absolutely incredible, sometimes just a complete dud. Too bad because I love the concept. The other thing that bothers me about them is I followed them on twitter for awhile and they have to be the most over-self-promoting people on the planet. They clogged up my twitter with dozens of retweets at a time of what other people said about them. But, that's super nit-picky. I'll still go back, for their great beer list alone.

I like Wild Fish a lot, and Silo has been excellent when I've gone - especially the happy hour specials at the bar.

I went to Scuzzi's, found it to be an over-priced Olive Garden with extremely rude management. I even overheard one of the managers saying they don't like to hire women because they are unreliable. Since then I've decided to not only not go to Scuzzi's (which I wouldn't anyway, I found their food bland and uninspired despite a lovely decor) but also none of their other restaurants (Bourbon Street, Pompeii, Papa Nacho's, Salsalitos to name a few).
