I spent my morning at Bussey's Flea Market and here are the pics to prove it (it only cost the $1.00 parking fee):

On the way I stopped by the Snake Farm. I have been seeing that place for 50 years on the highway to New Braunfels. I never stopped before. This time I stopped at the parking lot. Looked at the price, $9.95 per adult. I didn't go in but I got some pics from the outside.

Hmm... did you buy anything? Perhaps a wagon wheel?

I've been seeing those same wagon wheels for years. I use to sell from Bussey's. I was tempted to buy a Bowie Knife as you can see the kind guy showing to me. He made that knife himself. His name is Roy. But no, I didn't buy anything there. Instead I went to Greune, TX and went into an antique store and paid $29.95 for a map of San Antonio made in 1886. It showed the red light district very well. Most of the views I see of San Antonio are from the north looking south. This was from the Southwest looking Northeast.

I always feel sorry for them too. Something about selling pets especially puppies & kittens at a flea market just doesn't seem right to me.
