I need to know if any one here knows of an apt. in the stone oak or north area that is really dog friendly. I live in the north now (blanco & 1604,bitters area) I would like to stay in this area but I am having a problem with mangement here sending use notices every time we turn around. So we are going to have to move. We have only lived here since may, we are from tennessee. I do not work and am at home all the time and know our dogs are not barking more than others. They are making up all kinds of things. I have got to get some apts. lined up. I also need info. on how and where to file a complait with apt.association. This post may get moved or deleted but I need to post it anyway. We are affraid they will kick us out. People that live here kinda walk arouond with their noses in the air and not real friendly. It is just this complex and if I could list it I would so no one else has to go threw this.

As far as dogs are concerned, the Retreat at Canyon Springs was VERY dog friendly. We had our labrador retriever with us in an apartment there when we first moved to town and our two bedroom 1 bath was about $1100 with the dog. No tenants below us, so we never worried about noise (most buildings appeared to be only partially full). As for the management company, we weren't very impressed - the grounds were poorly maintained, there were car break-ins and they were slow to give us back our deposit money, etc. It seems like every apartment has issues like that. But if we're looking at pet friendliness alone, our big dog was NEVER an issue and there is a nice walking path around the community (complete with poop bag stations!), overlooking a golf course, which we enjoyed with him.

Have you tried looking at renting sites. I would mention some but I'm afraid this site might not allow me to post. If you want to sites to look at then you can DM me. But other than that, try googling renting sites and the sites should have an option when searching for an apartment saying "pet friendly" kind of thing.

Sorry to hear about your situation. It happens to the best of us but good luck!

Some of these have weight and breed restrictions.
Marquis at Deerfield
Marquis at Rogers Ranch
Lodge at Shavano
Ranch at Shavano
Vineyard Springs

These are just a few I found on Dons apartments.com
There are apartment review sites you might look into too.
