Hi, I'm a college student here in San Antonio, and I was wondering
what kinds of places there are where I can take a girl to in San Antoino other than good old movies, or shopping malls.
Any Ideas???

River walk, clubs and bars, hiking trails, picnic on the river, fishing, skydiving, the zoo, basketball game, concert (there's lots, from mainstream to local), pool hall...
Just to name a few.
Do what you like to do. When you find a girl who likes all the things you like to do, you've found a keeper.
My gal plays video games with me and loves Sushi - and she's more than up for hiking miles and miles, and jogging part of the way

Ride the river barge, rent a segway, bike riding, neighborhood pool, to your place and you cook, to the book store, driving, hanging out, have you ever been to the Cameo Theater? Alamo Drafthouse Cinema? Institute of Texas Cultures? The Alamo?

I am assuming that you:
A - are here for school and did not grow up here (so some areas and sights may be of interest to you that a local would already have seen) B - are looking for dates that are affordable for a college student In that case, my husband went to college here and some of my favorite affordable dates when I visited him here were: Touring his college campus, Trinity is phenomenally gorgeous Taking a barge cruise on the river, I think RIO SA Cruises is like $7 pp Visiting the Alamo Riding bikes around Alamo Heights and enjoying the architecture and landscaping (well, he bought me a bike - but I do still ride it these days College football games (free except for snacks) Feeding ducks, there was some pond/lake near the zoo area (price of a loaf of bread) Laying out and drinking beers at his neighborhood pool (only cost is beer)
