B. What does this have to do with anything? Seriously? That has nothing to do with my opinion on NISD. I don't think there is any need to bring in what is on another message board in to another message board, thanks.
If you don't pay property taxes-so no school taxes, how it is that you can tell me that I can't complain about them? I really find it interesting that you have a dog in this fight when your money isn't even involved.

Very interesting indeed.

I see no need to defend myself. We're both entitled to our own opinions, even if they differ.

Sure, just let me know when your bill arrives. I have thousands of reasons for why I feel that way I do. I just want to understand your stance about school taxes.

I've outlined them in my previous posts. My family's bill will arrive along with yours. And we're eagerly pay...as I said before.

My bill will arrive around the same time too. I have no problem with paying it. I have thousands of reasons to pay it. I'll also enjoy the education my future kids will get in NISD..if that's in the cards for me.

Why don't you just bust out a couple of kids and call it even?

Disagree...splitting the district would result in much higher administrative costs (additional superintendent, assitant, board...)

I still have all the documentation from the bond committee and would be more than happy to serve again if asked. I would gladly donate my time to help NISD get this bond passed if it is needed!
The downside of that is that the profit would be gained at the expense of the current tax payers...and those people (us) would not have a personal return on their investment.

But don't the current taxpayers get the use of new facilities for the children NOW? Seems that's the return...no cuts like NEISD needed.

Do you know where your school tax dollars are going?
I think the answer to that can be found here:
