ok, so i know this is a loaded question and hard to answer because each person views "romantic" differently. what i'm trying to find out are ideas that I haven't thought of.

Another good one is to go to Sister Creek Vineyards for a tasting and tour. here is the link:
Sister Creek Vineyards ~ Sisterdale Texas . You can take home a couple of bottles of wine, all are good but I highly recommend the Muscat Canelli reserve. I have been saving a bottle of the 3 blend Cabernet for a nice candlelight steak dinner.

I second Fredericksburg. You can go for the day or stay at a nice B&B and make a weekend of it. There are plenty of wineries in the area that are fun to visit, and lots of shops and restaurants in town. Torre di Pietra usually has live music on weekends, too.
Or you could cook, put on some music and open a bottle of wine and have a nice candelight dinner at home...
