I guess I should just be grateful this didn't go down the summer. Decomposing dogs + 100 degrees = wouldn't that have been a great smell.

Eh? The circumstances under which a deputy can discharging a firearm is extremely restrictive, and warning shots are not allowed. I don't think two dogs fighting would have given him allowable cause to do so, unless human life was at risk; and even then two magazines equates to 20+ rounds and would require reloading the pistol. It would not take more than 1-3 rounds per dog to take them down. Something just doesn't jive here...

A copy of the police report could be obtained under the Texas Public Information Act (Government Code, Chapter 552), it would be interesting if someone with the details of the incident could contact the BCSO Central Records office and get a copy of the report so we could quit speculating and know what actually happened...

This is another incident apart from the dog incident, this was one of the neighbors on the street behind us. He was probably drunk, he shot around 14 shots on Sunday Morning, and BCSD came last night to talk to him about it. ( I heard that from my next door neighbor, so I marked it bold )

sorry for not explain it better earlier.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant! I know there are huge restrictions on the police even drawing their weapons, much less firing them...

And what in the heck is going on over in Westcreek? Now I know why RD has been stocking up...
