No, Hi Park was mentioned later ParkAir. I went to almost all of them at one time or the other.

I did leave out the Trail, but I caught it and entered it. I think that is all in San Antonio. Seguin had the Dixie Drive-In and it was owned by Mr. Daniels who also owned the Palace and Texas Theatres in Seguin. He also built many theatres in South Texas.

GY, Lackland was a twin screen in it's later years. I heard sometime back it was owned by a guy that worked for Barrett Industries. One of two men I knew but forgot which. I never knew they had anything to do with it.

I'd have let you know ...that was always our nearest and dearest. Do you remember the kiddie Park that was just west of the Trail's entrance??

No problem. I remember when there was a Shakey's Pizza at the foot of the screen. Early 70's.

satx56: I remember that and I also remember the monkee cage in front of the drive-in screen (on the outside). Most of those monkees either went to Monkee Island in the Zoo or to the research center at Southwest.

That was also one of my favorite drive ins. I loved that place and old Terrell Wells swimming pool.

Something about it seems familiar but I can't remember the monkeys. Maybe when the little trailer was there. Yep, Terrell Wells swimming pool and Domino Ranch outside loop 410 on Moursund & Melody Ranch at Harding and Roosevelt.
