A model down of downtown San Antonio with planned and proposed buildings. Left out is the Grand Hyatt which is under construction and on it’s 18th or 19th floor right now.

Here you see the gold and dark blue buildings mixed in well giving downtown more great dense infill. There is one building that looks to be in the 550-700 foot range.

Here you see 27 story W hotel, 19 story Courtyard, 14 story Aloft (?), twon unknown (gold) buildings right in the middle, a blue highrise that may or may not be the new HQ for Frost Bank, and a large mixed-use project on South Flores which you could call north SoFlo.

Here you see three buildings, 27 story W, 17 story Courtyard, 14 story Aloft.

There are other buildings planned or proposed that are not shown becuase they’re either not put there yet or cut off by the angles.

It's always seemed to me that since Frost in HQed in SA, they should have their logo on a building taller than the one in Austin (though I know that building isnt exclusively occupied by frost). There are some great companies in SA, and I'd love to see towers in our downtown that reflect that (Hello, AT&T??).

If all of this comes about, then this plus the River North and other developments will make it feel almost like we have a new downtown/central loop! I can't wait to see the cranes going up

The blue high rise on the pics, is that proposed or approved?

Hi Mr. Insomniac! Could you please tell us where this information was found? I have heard that one time years ago that Frost bank was (or is) looking to relocate into a new skyscraper. I have also heard more recently of AT&T looking to build a massive building in downtown based on what I read from other threads on this site and skyscraperpage.com. By looking at the first frame I noticed two buildings shaded in blue. Could that be the Frost and/or the AT&t tower?

We were in Austin a few weeks ago and noticed the Frost building there. I was appalled that they didn’t build anything like that here!! I always thought Frost was headquartered here in SA. For those of you that haven’t seen the building, Google it.

They own a majority of the space in that building so that's why their name is on it.

Rest assure, Frost Bank is HQ'd in San Antonio.
