I had a friend from rural New York who had a knack for cracking me up with some of the idioms she'd use in our conversations. I'm sure we have a gold mine of the same here in SA. Please share as well as their meaning (if needed) Thanks!!

Busier'n a one-armed paper hanger.

Useless as teats on a boar hog.

Ain't worth his salt.

Faster'n a turpentined cat.

Faster'n a cat on a hot tinned roof.

" You guys"
" up to no good"
" You otta go..."
" not really ( for NO)"

" bunch of..."
" do what?" (the response to something not heard)
" I am gonna..."
and more...

The one that makes me laugh (actually cringe) that I never heard in NY or FL when I lived there was "get off the car". Evidently we dont get out of the car, we get off the car.
