Did I read this right? Are the public pools in SA free?

All outdoor public pools are free. The indoor pools are $1.50 for ages 18 and up (50 cents for ages 17 and younger).

Just make sure you wear the appropriate swim trunks, no basketball type shorts alloed and females must wear the appropriate swim suits.

Wow...I've never lived in a place where they were free! I guess that explains why they're open such a short amount of time, though. Even the pools up north open Labor Day weekend.
