Hi all,

I've been considering moving to the new unincorporated area of Corona near the Chino/Corona border (near Pine/Schleisman Rd). I know that it's a very new area, but does anyone have any info about what will be built around that area in terms of shopping, schools, etc? Anyone living there now know what the neighborhoods are like (ethnic/socio-economic make-up)?

Thanks.

Default Eastvale Resident

You can try:

eastvaleedition.com - This is Eastvale's community update
iloveeastvale.com - Good for forum reading on the area

I'd also be happy to try and answer any questions you have.

there are both a mens and women prison in close proximity to that area. Though all the farmers have soldout and they are building new housing as fast as possible. I think its still too early to know what the neighborhoods will be like as they are so new and expanding rapidly.

I believe that whole area is built on former dairyland...I would defintely check out what type of dirt you are living on...I would go farther down the interstate to Norco or Corona....but definitely check out if the home you are interested in is on top of old pasture...must be some type of disclosure about that??

That was all dairy farms...could barely drive through there without holding your nose...not even 5 years I would guess...the farmers up and went north to bakersfield, etc...

i know several years ago there were some homes down in los alamitos somewhere off the 605 that were built on dairy land and the yuck started seeping through the concrete of the homes. I would not buy anything built on dairy land...

Don't do it. The little cachet you would get from Corona would be wasted. Utterly unnecessary sprawl of a development. Notice how the Colony in Ontario is being postponed indefinitely.

was out there today and drove through most of it. If you need to be in this area you need to go further EAST. towards the 15. Still Eastvale. Cleaner and the stores are a bit closer. Also not built on Farmland but rather just vacant lots for many many years. Look near Hamner and Jarupa area. Not exact intersection but pretty close.
