Where can I buy low-sodium cottage cheese in this area? I live in Apple Valley but also shop in Victorville. I've checked several large grocery stores and haven't found low-sodium cottage cheese yet. I hope someone does sell it up here because I can't go traveling out of the desert just to buy cottage cheese. It will probably be very expensive to start with! :-) Thanks for your help!

Vons used to carry a no salt added - brand name was Lucerne, I think. Ask the manager at your nearest Von's to see if they can still get it.

Other than that ... netgrocer.com can ship it to you.

Default Thanks! I just tried netgrocer for the cottage cheese

I appreciate your suggestions! After reading your reply I looked at netgrocer.com and saw their low-sodium cottage cheese. It has a pretty high price compared to regular cottage cheese, but I expected that. However, when I put it in the shopping cart (to see what the shipping cost would be) it said "The Total Value of Refrigerated Items (Dairy/Deli/Meat) Must Exceed $35.00 Minimum." :-( It's just too expensive to order it there.

But you also suggested they may have it at Von's. I had forgotten there was a Von's around here as it is quite far from where we live, never on the way to anywhere else we go, but I'll see as soon as I can whether they have it and what the price is.

I wonder where else they might have it (I'm hoping a little closer to home).

Thanks again for your quick reply.
