I can't believe the residents of this community are not speaking out about the issues with turning this entire neighborhood into a revolving door community of airbnb renters.

Airbnb started as a venue for people to make letting a room in their home to help cover costs.

This is rapidly turning into a nightmare with investors who don't live here and don't have to worry about strangers pulling in and out of driveways next door on a revolving basis.

When is this going to stop? I don't want to have to live behind a gate to "protect" my neighborhood. :-(
Nobody cares?

Any non HOA areas is going to have a lot of airbnbs in the area as its a tourist area. Even in INdian Wells in the high end homes off 111 and up Eldorado you get a few high end airbnb rentals as they don;t have an HOA. Go into the Vintage Club and not sure they allow them, but the homes are $4M+.

Cove has attractive prices for investors. Find an HOA neighborhood with lower HOA dues and you can be in an area that controls that. Our HOA does no allow rentals less than 30 days, and still get people renting for 2-4 months coming and going but not weekly.

Thank you for the advice. I am dismayed that I have to move - which I find pretty traumatic - from what was a beucolic neighborhood because of money grabbing individuals who are free to destroy a place they don't live in.

I am having a hard time accepting it but thanks again.
