As many of you w/ older cars know, a person can take their car in for a smog test & it won't pass, but then the car owner can take it to another place & it passes. Many of these crooked smog places intentionally fail people's cars, so they can get more money out of the innocent car owners by charging $75+ for diagnostics, more for repairs, etc.

A little farther out, the one I use in Riverside is honest. It's at Third/Chicago.
