Hi everyone in the Greater Inland Empire,

Does anybody have any experience with contractors for kitchen remodeling in the IE? If so, any recommendations or anyone I should avoid. I guess I'm just looking for general reviews and names.

We are planning on knocking down a wall to open up our kitchen more. Also we will be doing new flooring, cabinets, and counter tops. Basically I'm thcking about ripping it all out and starting over, lol. The unique thing to my remodeling will be the wall knock down (which I know can be done as it is not weight bearing and another neighbor with my same floor plan has done it).

It would be cheaper if you did the teardown, including the wall, yourself.

The one time (for flooring installation) I used someone recommended by a friend, it was a major disaster

When I re-did my whole house back in the 80's, I found my contractor by interviewing them at home shows.
When I needed major finish carpentry done in the 90's, I found my expert by interviewing them at home shows.

It's not cheaper if someone doesn't know what they're doing.
