I like to go walking in the mornings...just walking, not hiking or anything. I also walk w/ my SO 99.99% of the time. We usually walk in 1 of 3 places, but I recently saw a coyote in one place & that was on a college campus, so I'm wary about going there anymore.

Anyone know any nice places to walk w/ nice surroundings that kind of feels like you're a little bit out in nature, BUT you won't really run into a wild animal & have to bring a walking stick or mace?

Thanks!

North Etiwanda Perserve is a must. Take Etiwanda Ave. all the way up and leads you straight to the trail. Best part is parking is free and you don't have to worry about parking in a neighborhood since the trail has it's own dirt lot to park.

I looked this place up...too much uneven ground, slippery rocks, etc. I had a serious ankle injury, so I'm not trying to accidentally slip or fall & re-injure my ankle way out there!

It's a nice, long stretch but I didn't want to have to cross the street every so many feet. I wanted something more serene & nature-like, but WITHOUT the wild animals or any uneven, steep terrain.

What? Been there. That's not my idea of good walking.

The PE trail.

Banyan Street from Haven east into Etiwanda.

Walk up Haven Avenue from the Von's parking lot just north of the 210.

The 19th Street Cul-de-sac.
