Ah, the San Gorgonio Pass, serving as the "Gateway" to the IE and/or the Coachella Valley...

VERY windy, too!

Anyway, onto the question.

What are your opinions on the communities of Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Yucaipa, Cherry Valley, Oak Glen, Oak Valley, Cabazon, Whitewater, Bonnie Bell, and Snow Creek? Ergo, the San Gorgonio Pass Area?

Personally, I'd say that my favorite parts of the San Gorgonio Pass Area are Banning, Beaumont, Calimesa, Yucaipa, Cabazon, and Whitewater. I especially love the shopping outlets in Cabazon (and the Dinosaurs), and I also love how the San Gorgonio Pass Area looks when driving at night. Windy, peaceful, and not much noise.

But, Cabazon, Whitewater, Bonnie Bell, and Snow Creek are quite iffy, as some locals consider these communities to be within the IE, while others consider them to be within the CV. What are your thoughts on this?

So, to recap, what are your opinions on the communities of the San Gorgonio Pass mentioned above?

Any answers are appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Oak Glen is beautiful and a hidden gem. If I had to live in the Pass area, I would live there.

I like it.

I was in Yucaipa/Calimesa about a month ago, and it was (pardon me for lack of better term) "trashier" than I had remembered.

I still like it though.

Yeah. Dirtier, lower class, etc.

Take a cruise over there and see what I mean.

It's not off my list of places I like, however.

You seem to do a lot of travelling, D.A. Are you independently wealthy?

Not independently, but I don't have to work (per se), I work basically when I feel like it, and can do so from anywhere.

It may not be gourmet, but there is a Sizzler in Banning.
