Hello!

My husband and I are in our late 20s looking to purchase a home in the IE are specifically either Fontana or Riverside. We want to settle down somewhere family friendly, with great schools for our future kids and pet friendly (we have two pitbulls). Any help in trying to help us find the perfect neighborhood would be great!

The westside of Fontana is at Etiwanda school district, and southeast of Riverside is at Orangecrest neighborhood school district. Both have excellent schools, and a great place to start to look for homes.

Riverside. It has so many positives all the county offices are in town since it is county capital, has a good UC school, nightlife, Riverside food lab, new main library, private schools downtown, private security downtown, has co-working spaces like the https://www.mindandmill.com/cowork , easy access to Disneyland and the beaches since the fastrak toll lanes are on the 91 freeway, Easy access to other cities within the county like Palm Springs/Coachella/El Paseo, The public transportation system is awesome where I can leave my tesla at home and walk to downtown and take a bus dowm to my friends house near Cal Baptist University/Riverside Porsche area, the list goes on. Best bet is to drive around each and get a feel for each. Also there is a public fast pass bus from Riverside to Disneyland and The Metrolink is conventienly located in downtown Riverside. The High Speed rail is planned for Riverside also.

Here is an older Drone video of the (Spring Mountain Ranch) area of Riverside, CA in its early days back in 2016. I couldn't find a video on the new enorumous beautiful park that has opened nor the mostly completed view of the neighborhood as almost all the empty lots are done.

Also note Riverside runs its own utilities which tend to be cheaper and more reliable than SF's PG&E or LA's Edison.
