Can anyone give me a good recommendation for apt, jobs and elem schools in Redlands? we are thinking of relocating from FL to Cali. my finaces sister and a few other family memebers live in Loma Linda an near by, but Im not familiar with any of these areas an basicly know nothing about them. What is the job market like? I work in medical fiance construction. Is housing exspensive(looking for Apt not house).Need excellent elem and middle school. any advice would be wonderful.I've read that San Bernardino is not a good area so thats not a option.

Thank You

Loma Linda is an SDA college town, very small no public school system, minimal public services. Very safe. There are very few business, restaurants, etc. in Loma Linda, rents are high (compared to the surrounding area) but its nice. Redlands, San Bernardino, and Colton are all near by, there seems to be a natural dividing line between desireable and less desireable areas. All of these cities have nice parts and bad parts, just like any other town, but in the cases of these cities it tends to be seperated by the 10 freeway. You will want to look at the areas south of the 10. North of the 10 there are nice places too, but harder to find and bordered by less desireable neighborhoods. Scary drives in/out of your neighborhood.
