In the Palm Springs or Cathedral City area?

You residents know more than I could and it becomes a blur when you follow things in the internet.

Could be a smaller home, not a condo or trailer be found in today's market?

I ask here because the people who live there know more than I could ever find on the net IMO.

Thanks for any contribution.

For a clean smaller home away from home is why. We love the area.

No, might as well buy in Vegas if I'm going that far.

We like Palm Springs, going to Bill's Pizza, our quick honeymoon was taken there. We like climbing the hills and stay at the Viceroy villas, the Parker and so on when we have stayed there on business.

We want something somewhat closer to Palm Springs and if it is a large one bedroom home, I would be happy.

Are those kind of things out there that are not condos or trailers?

At the realtor.com website I seen, when I searched, attached single story townhomes in your price range. There are, of course, many condos within the range as well. If you won't be living there full-time you might want to live in a HOA so that someone will be around to watch your home when you're away.

The "YET" at the end of the title is interesting.

Prices have dropped so far, in some parts of Riverside County - it would be really scary if they were to drop further. And if you could buy a house in Palm Springs for $80K, what would that do to the prices in Desert Hot Springs? It's a scary thought.
