Cool video! I use to drive by that McDonalds in Downey and the In & Out in El Monte all the time!

Anyhow, the 50's REALLY seemed like a fun time to be alive in Southern California. Hmmm, my grandparents were stationed at Edwards Air force base in 1953 and I wonder if they made a trip or two to L.A to get a burger..lol

There's a few of us fossils left that do. I also still persist in calling Rancho Cucamonga just plain Cucamonga, or, if the mood hits me, Cuuuuuuuuuc......camonga. I think I'm one of the few people left in the area who knows why Rochester Ave is so named.

And for those of us who really go back generations, La Puente and Puente is another one. Of course I remember when Puente was almost in the desert.
