Hi- I'm new to Temecula (have been here since July), and I've yet to pinpoint some good options for a whole assortment of services.

Was hoping some locals might be able to offer some referrals for any of the following:

Pediatrician
Primary Care Physician (for adult male)
Dentist (for adult male and for kids)
Optometrist
Haircut (adult male and for kids)
Healthy restaurants
Auto mechanic

Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone can provide!

I can make a few recommendations based on your list...

Pediatrician: Dr. Sylvia Johnson with Pediatric Partners ( Dr. Sylvia Johnson, M.D. ). They are affiliated with Children's Hospital in San Diego in case you ever need a referral to a specialist or surgery. I've referred others to her, and everyone really loves her.

Dentist: We go to Pacific Dental Group ( Meet Our Dental Team - Pacific Dental Group & Orthodontics ). My kids are now seeing Dr. Kardosh, and so far, so good. There is never a wait, everything is speedy and efficient, and clean. Now, we've never had any major dental work done there, but routine care has been great.

Optometrist: We've only gone for my daughter, who is seven, but it was a great experience for her ("can we go back to the eye doctor?" she always asks). Their website is totally lame, but the office is very nice, albeit small.... Temecula Eye Center, Optometry - Home

For the kids hair, I just take them to Supercuts. But if it's a special occasion and I really want to entertain and treat the girls, I might splurge and do Sharkey's: Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Where haircuts are cool and fun rules!

Hope this gets you started!
