Fullerton to Fontana is NOT something to be considered.

For what it may be worth, I just moved out to Rancho C./Ontario from south Orange County and I am MUCH MUCH happier out here! It seems to be a bit slower paced and the mountain views are fantastic. I feel like the people are a bit more "normal" and down to earth. Not as many botoxed up soccer moms running around frantically in their Escalades. I also feel like I'm closer to more things (except the beach, but I'm okay with that) like the desert, downtown LA, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Mt. Baldy, Big Bear and the list goes on. I can honestly say I really, really like living in the IE. You could not pay me to move back to OC.

I read that they wouldn't let them film a scene from "Pearl Harbor" there because the company that bought the facility from Kaiser Steel was Japanese.

For some reason I thought Hansen's was in Corona.

Anywho, I second, third, and fourth the "live as close to work" idea.

BTW, AKgirlinCA, nice posts (especially the botox one).
