When you point to the title of a thread in other forums, a small box appears with the first sentence or two shown as a preview. Why doesn't the San Diego forum do that? It is a nice feature.

Actually, this forum used to have that feature but it was eliminated due to budget constraints and the fact that people were getting too grabby.

I don't know if this applies to you, but what I've noticed is that this feature - the small box - works when I'm "in" a certain area (in this case, "California, San Diego"), but NOT when I'm in my "subscribed forums".

Well, mine is working now also. So either they fixed it, or something is goofy on my end. I always come to the forum in the say manner, by clicking on it in my favorites menu.

I will say if it stops working for me again.

It works for me when I'm logged in, but not when I'm logged out. Must be a feature only available to "members".
