What? Don't be such a negative nelly. It's April, and it was sunny and in the 80s all weekend. This is normal for this time of year, some fluctuation, followed by (sometimes) May Gray and (usually) June Gloom before summer really takes off in July, August, September, and often all the way through October.

I have no idea, it's not something I would notice unless I was specifically looking for it. Gay couples, straight couples...it's all the same to me.
Hmm, I'm wondering now, have I seen anyone lately? ...I guess it just doesn't register for me either.

When I see a couple of guys walking down the street holding hands, I usually jump in between them, grab each of their hands, and go off skipping down the street humming show tunes. Nothing will cheer you up more than prancing about with show tunes filling your head.

It's really not that normal to have complete days of yuck right now. Winter is over. We usually get 2 months (at least) of pretty good sun before we get socked in until mid July.

Me cry now

Winter is sunnier than spring though, it's actually the sunniest time of year statistically. Spring was always my least favorite time of year in SD, too many clouds and not that much warmer than winter during the day overall.

Buck up, little camper. It's supposed to be sunny and in the mid-to-high 70s at the coast next week

I've heard all the "negatives" about SoCal, San Diego being white, republican and conservative, that it's too military, not cultured enough and on and on...I'm serious when I'm asking you here to enlighten me on the truth, not on misconceptions.

For me, if I see a gay couple holding hands walking down the street, I see that as liberating and free. I really would like to know if I would feel that way, holding my partner's hand whether that be downtown, La Jolla, PB, Ocean Beach or Chula Vista - and not just in Hillcrest?

Since we don't know anyone there, I would truly welcome all observations and thoughts from all of you, young or old, gay or str8, good or bad please

Thank you all in advance and I hope you're having a good day!

Marcus
Me and my Fiance (A male ex sailor) hold hands everywhere and never encountered a problem. Then again hes a 6'5' built Bahamian man. Lol That may be a factor though.
